“We Are Change” is the provocative theme for the 11th Annual TEDx Youth at EB, inviting us to acknowledge and embrace the ever present, multifaceted nature of change.
Change is a constant; shaping our lives for better or worse. Yet it often sparks fear, hesitation, or resistance from those who cling to or benefit from the status quo. In truth, change is the very force that holds our world together, pushing us to adjust, adapt and imagine new possibilities.
This year, twelve speakers from EB Middle School, joined by distinguished guest speakers , mechanical engineer, Alexandre Bayen, and investigative journalist, Sasha Schell, will take the stage at UC Berkeley’s Banatao Auditorium to explore change from every angle, tackling topics as varied as innovative future fuels, global shipping and transportation, and animal extinction. Take notice, as they bring their fresh perspectives to inspire action and remind us that we are all part of the transformation.
